Following on from the initial research we were to conceptualise a new version of the site through a paper prototype. I then carried out user testing on the paper prototype to gain some early insights. This is summarised in the following report:
We conducted indepth research of the Driver Theory test booking site. Analysing the process to book your test online. We carried out video based user testing along with Heuristic evaluations and presented our finding to our peers. The presentation is available here:
Working in groups of 3 initially we were to Identify an existing website which requires a redesign. We were to focus on a product or service. We must ensure we evaluate on usability and not just aesthetic. Once established we were to analyse the most common use case.
This is our final report which was printed and submitted as a client deliverable. You can browse the report below.

We focused our research on Stephens Green shopping centre information kiosks. Below is a selection of our initial photo research. We include more in our final report.
The main tasks I carried out on this task was to complete a full heuristic analysis on one of the kiosks, conduct video interviews with users and final data for reporting.
For this project we were asked to evaluate a user interface situated in a public space. Our first task was to identify a suitable UI and to conduct a site visit. We evaluated our chosen UI using two approaches – Heuristic Evaluation and ‘In the Wild’ Usability Testing.
